By submitting a donation through the Al-Salam Humanitarian Association website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Donations

All donations made to Al-Salam Humanitarian Association are considered voluntary and non-refundable, unless a proven technical error has occurred during the transaction.
Donations are used to support Al-Salam’s humanitarian programs. While we make every effort to allocate your donation to your chosen appeal (e.g., Zakat, Shelter, Thirst Relief), Al-Salam reserves the right to redirect funds to areas of greatest need if a specific appeal is overfunded or closed.

Zakat, Sadaqah, and Restricted Donations

Zakat donations will be distributed in accordance with Islamic principles and our 100% Zakat Policy.
If you give Sadaqah, Fidya, Kaffarah, Aqiqah, or other restricted donations, Al-Salam will ensure they are spent only on the specified cause.

Tax Receipts

Eligible donors in Canada will receive an official tax receipt for their donation. Please ensure your contact information is accurate to receive your receipt.

Recurring Donations

Refunds & Errors

Refunds are only available in cases of proven duplicate transactions, unauthorized use of your payment method, or technical errors. To request a refund, please get in touch with us within 7 days of the donation.
